Avatar 3D - The Review

Here is a very short review of the movie Avatar, based on a 3d experience at fame cinemas in bangalore. In short, I had to say it was a bit of an underwhelming experience but the imagery and the experience was grand. The sound effects might not have been great due to theatre quality. Personal tip - ensure you sit in the first few rows of the movie hall and bang in the center of the row. The view should ideally not be obstructed by the other movie goers! To make it short and sweet, the review is in the form of a tag cloud...

OK guyss..listen up. Hellooo helloo.. yes.. This is only for Banglore poeple. If any one you are confused as to where to watch the 3D Movie in Blore, here it is. I am jus a common bangalorean who loves watching unique movies, i dont waste my time and money for all bakwas movie. So here it is..
There are 3 theatres in banglore which is fit for Avatar. Me, my bro and my cousin have watched in 3 theatres and here it is. This is not the review of the direction or the story of romance of the navi couple. This is purely abt the viewing of cinema and the magic that Mr. Cameroon has created. This review is only for those who wants to know where it is worth to watch this AVATAR in Banglore only...
LIDO : First, i saw it in Fame lido. Well the theatre is good. Sounds system is gooas as expected bcoz its new. But if u wanna watch the Avatar, well FORGET IT. Its very dark and u jus wldnt enjoy it. To watch 2D in lido is better. there is no brightnesss at all..
2)Urvashi: Well after watching it in LIDO I wasnt satisfied. I knew there is something more that i was missing.. After all thats now why James has spent 2000 crore. Hence after lots of review , I felt Urvashi is the best place to watch this movie as they claimed they have installed new 2K projector or whatever. But it was just disappointing. Yes the theatre is huge , the screen is wide. But it just wasnt good enough. For those who saw it first time, they wld enjoy. But certainly not me and my friends.. The Background was very blurred and the brightness was more without Glasses. No pointin saying the glasses were by Xpand series. I jus felt the settings or soemthing went wrong. It was juts a movie and not an experience.. And here its is..
3)Well well, After 2 Attemps i wasnt still convinced enough. I know that there is something more the movie had to give. Finally the unexpected. I am not sure how many of You have heard this Movie theatre. Its called "MUKUNDA". Guys Guys hold on, before u stop reading this, jus continue for a minute.. Myself and my bro and cousin were as shocked as you are to know that such a low profile theatre like Mukunda gave us the best 3D experience than any theatre in Bangalore. Yes its true... with out any doubt, MUKUNDA is the best place to watch this Movie.
I am purely talkin in terms of the 3D effects and the cinematography part. If you reall wanna watch this as an experience rather than a movie, then MUKUNDA is the best place.
Yes the soundsystem is very bad and also the AC syste, is poor. But they have renovated to a great extent. The seats are better. But I guess u can manage to sit for 3 hours to watch this movie. Bcoz the brightness is just awesome and the movie looks so real. U can feel the 3D effects which is supposed to be real. Everything is so close to u and u can feel that. Trust me guys., just take a chance. Its just 150 per ticked all the 4 shows are 3D. I would surely post this review in all possible sites. Bcoz i really want u guys to get the actual experience of 3D which u wil get it only from MUKUNDA. The water spilling at u is real, the mud thrown at u is real a sit comes so close and almost on top u. The colors are just awesome and the brightness is stunning. After u watch it in MUKUNDA u will know as to why 2000 crore was spent.
If MUKUNDA people have read this, I would request u to not to change the movie as m sure u can get more crowd. Please have a look at this movie in MUKUNDA.

Thanks,
Shahid

I watched at inox at garuda mall. sound quality is good and the seating arrangement is better, so that your view wont be blocked. I am not sure about the picture quality, I felt they have to tweak the system for more brightness or probably the glasses are tinted?? Heard good reviews about Mukunda, and planning to check there as well.

Hi all...
after reading this blog... i went to mukunda today... it was 200 % better than fame shankarnag... the picture was very sharp and clear...and i felt no sort of headache..i sat in the last row but not in the middle... so i cudnt feel any popping out effects much... but overall i am very satisfied with mukunda quality... thanks to you guys...

Even I watched in Fame ShankarNag and it is very bad..

I went with lot of expectations. I watched Bewoulf in IMAX, Hyderabad. It is wonderful experience.

After this, I felt Fame like watching a pirated movie. The clarity is bad, the specs are small and the we got headache after seeing there.

It spoiled our enthu to see it again. I was trying to see in Urvashi, but just now read about Mukund. Need to try there.
